At over 100 square metres, this event space is perfect for workshops, lectures, film screenings, and small gatherings, accommodating up to 60 people comfortably.

Our hireable event space is designed to be accessible and affordable for the Bristol community, particularly for local artists and creatives. We are particularly keen to host repeat workshops and welcome a diverse range of events. We are also eager to collaborate with artists and organisations to craft unique experiences. From dog life drawing sessions to art markets and art business launches, our versatile event space has hosted a wide variety of workshops and events.   • Day Rate - £150.00

    Half Day - £75.00

    Standard Rate - £20/hr

    If any bookings run out of hours (later than 6 pm or are on weekends) an additional single payment of £25 is required.

    We are open to discuss discretionary rates for charities.

    10% off for any repeating block bookings of 3 sessions or more.

    Capacity 60 - 80 depending on activity.

    Can I sell alcohol?
    We do not have a liquor licence. If you wish to sell alcohol, please ask us or email us at centrespacegallery@gmail.com. If we approve you can then get a TENs Licence from the council. Do not apply for a TENs licence without consulting us.

    Can I book the Events Space for consecutive days?
    Possibly, this depends on our studio holders schedules and other event bookings. Please bear in mind that The Chocolate Factory is also used by studio holders and studios lead off from the events space.

    Will I be able to let myself in and out of the Space?
    No. A studio holder will be there to let you in and out of the space.

    Is the event space private?
    Studios lead off from our event space, these studio holders could walk through the area.

    Do I need to account for set up and take down?
    Yes, please include all your set up / take down time in the application. We expect all users of the space to clean up after themselves. If you have any specific requirements, please let us know.
