Charli Clark
I am an environmental artist, gardener and beekeeper, working to increase reverence and understanding of the natural world. My practice involves painting, film, sculpture, workshops, biological art and socially engaged projects. I often work collaboratively, exploring the inter-connectivity between humans and non-humans, and their relationships with one another.
My main focus is insects, plants and pollen in a changing climate and gardening is an important part of my practice. Spending regular time working outdoors equips me with the knowledge and lived experience of changing seasons and the impact of humans on the landscape. I enjoy working in a variety of conditions and with different humans and non-humans alike, as I try to make sense of this amazingly complex and curious world we live in.
