Their third show together features new work from Rose Pettit (ceramics) and Kelvin Jenkins (collages) with a few collaborations thrown in, so to speak.
Rose: Stoneware functional and sculptural ceramics. Inspiration is taken from the natural and built world combining human and animal or plant forms. The faces are not of anyone in particular and emerge from the clay. I like looking for ideas in churches, public monuments and stone carvings.
Kelvin: These new collages are largely non-representational using a more improvised approach than previously, allowing for mistakes that can take the work in unexpected directions. In effect it’s doodling on a grand scale These are pictures that try not to be anything but themselves.
