‘Sacred Space’ is dedicated to spaces in which we find sanctuary or are confronted by something larger than ourselves, whether it be natural environments, places of worship, the home or illusory, metaphysical space. While many definitions of ‘sacred’ involve a religious element, perhaps the holy does not discriminate; that even the most profane and banal of places could have potential to be held sacred. This exhibition invites you to enter into the Sacred Space that each artist has provided us.
